In August of 2010 there were 15 homes that closed within the month for Hopkinton Massachusetts. This is an decrease of 14 units, as there were 29 homes that closed in August of 2009.

The Average list price for the homes that closed in Hopkinton for August of 2009 was $572,775

The Average list price for the homes that closed in Hopkinton for August of 2010 was $638,593

The Average sale price for the homes that closed in Hopkinton for August of 2009 was $555,020

The Average sale price for the homes that closed in Hopkinton for August of 2010 was $619,207

The Average Market time for the homes that closed in Hopkinton in August of 2009 was 118 days.

The Average Market time for the homes that closed in Hopkinton August of 2010 was 58 days.

 

6 homes went under agreement in Hopkinton Massachusetts in the month of August . The average list price of the homes that went under agreement was $547,417. The average time on the market for these Hopkinton homes were 41 days.

Through August there are 96 homes that have sold in Hopkinton. In 2009 there were 108 homes sold through August.

In comparing year over year longer term data for Hopkinton Massachusetts, there was still a downward movement in home values as compared to previous years. The rate at which home values are dropping seems to have stabilized quite a bit, especially in the lower price points of the market. The average days on the market for a home has dropped and inventory levels remained stable throughout the year.

There was an increase of 20 sales in Hopkinton in 2009 v.s 2008!
