Ok, so I am a newbie

Well, I guess it's time for me to finally take the plunge at my first attempt in blogging.  Since I am new, I'm not quite where to start or what to talk about so I will just tell you a little about myself.  I am a divorce mother of two teenagers.  My daughter is 15 and thinks she is 21.  My 17 year old son thinks he knows everything and tries to wear the pants in the house.  What a household! LOL  But, all in all, they are the best and have been wonderful as my life and their life go though some major changes.  So, next time, I'll talk about how I got into Real Estate.  REAL EXCITING.  NOT!

Arlene,

Welcome to Active Rain. This is the first for me - being the 1st to welcome someone. I am on AR for only 2 weeks. You will find a lot of great people, ideas and things you would want to do, or like me wished to know how to do. Write about what ever you want. Read other people's posts and enjoy both. Good luck!

Hello to all the newbies!  It's wonderful so go on out and try a spin.  Wealth is knowledge and we have some really fantastic people on AR.  Gary:  Yes, it is now time for Realtors to get out there and start hustling.  I feel it's the perfect time for me to start my career.  I have the time to gain all the knowledge that I can.  I'm loving it!

Arlene, this is my first visit to AR.  I saw a comment on the RE/MAX website and thought I would give it a try.  I've been in real estate for about 5 years and bought a RE/MAX franchise a little over a year ago.  We are moving into a new building this weekend.  I didn't realize how much I have accumulated this past year.  I am going on the third day of moving.  Our new office is a lot more visible to the public.  I think that it will make a difference.  It is located on the main street of town and is a high traffic area.  This past year has been a tough one.  Well, good luck Arlene.

You go girl!  So many things in this business take courage, and you're doing it!

Some ideas of good blogs:  Get advise on anything you might have questions about (marketing, fsbo's, etc.), Tell people why they should use you, Tell us about what your area is doing in real estate

Good luck! :-)
