Yes friends, it is all about your systems and processes!

Too much time on your hands means not enough business.

Not enough business creates fear and motivation that starts intense phone work and marketing campaigns, either new or what you've always done in the past that seemed to work.

 "I have to make some calls!"

Mike Ferry said and says, "The business you have now is a direct reflection on what you were doing 90 days ago. What you are doing now to get new business will be reflected in 90 days!" (or something close to that)

All of a sudden, the business starts rolling in and you are swamped! If you're a real estate agent, you are preparing CMA's for listing appointments or for buyer's showing tours. If you are a mortgage originator, you are doing prequals, getting back to customers and agents preparing preapproval letters, applications, and follow up.

For a while, the phone does not stop ringing.

Very soon, you start putting things off to the next day because it is so late, you are so tired, and you are slammed.

When you get in then next morning and see the emails in your inbox and the messages in your voicemail box, you have so much more to do than when you left last night.\

And now,,, your follow up and quality starts slipping and you know it.

THIS IS PRECISELY THE POINT WHERE YOUR CURRENT SYSTEMS AND PROCESSES ARE LETTING YOU DOWN!

If you can bring the business in, you are way ahead of your competitors. You need to get some real help and tweak your current systems and create new ones to help you not only keep up with the new influx of business, but allow you to bring in even more while still maintaining your sanity and quality of life!

Going Crazy

I bet alot of you know exactly what I am talking about!

This series is for you. If I am resonating with you even one tiny bit, here is your homework assignment:

Take a few moments and think about what you have created to support your business.

Then Write it down! Write it down as though you were teaching your new assistant to do exactly what you are doing now!

Do This!

Little by little, in this series, I am going to give you bite-sized chunks of wisdom and techniques to enhance your processes and by default, your quality of life.
