This is really good advice. Tom Ferry was the one who finally got it through my head to have realsitic expectations. I used to set goals that were out of sight. Then I achieved and them and set higher goals- not in the scope of reality. To top it off, I beat myself up fo rnot acheiving the unrealistic goals. I have a successful and happy life now, but much more enjoyable. I am happier than I have ever been. I also learned to take care of me and put myself first. Quite a journey for me. Thanks Tom.
For today, I'd like to send out a message to everyone who is dealing with getting older and not having their goals realized in the short term. I want to make the point that it's important to put everything into perspective and to remember that we all "Overestimate what can be done in a year and underestimate what can be done in a decade".
Remember, your strategy matters and your passion rules!

Thanks for the post, Lori. I'm not the most patient person myself and constantly berate myself when I can't accomplish everything I want immediately. I think this market is teaching me patience and strength more than anything, but I love the TF video! Did you go to the Summit this year? I know it got moved from your 'hood his year... :)
