VOX Closing Its Doors The End Of September, Back Up The Posterous Blog (Beep Beep Beep)

In the beginning of blogging platforms, a slew of options entered the Internet playing field...like a marathon of racers.

Shoulder to shoulder, chomping at the bit to collect membership, following and claiming to be different than the rest in the herd. Also struggling to turn over the investment in hosting and behind the scenes personnel, overhead like Active Rain to make the proposition stay out of the red. To be a paying expenditure for the host.

VOX gave the good fight but like a Presidential field of candidates that is wide, varied, big in the start of the election, one by one drop outs happen. "Retire earlies" announcements with crying spouses, tearful children and long faced campaign workers pop up in media blurps, sound bites, video clips. Announcing, trumpeting the pull back, bail out. Because of lack of funding, not enough popularity or both.

So what to do with the early, current VOX blog post work? After heatring the news from VOX closure September 30th, 2010, time to go in to maneuvers to salvage that work, imagery, video links, blog post information about our communities, the real estate we list, market, sell.

Shift gears, pull the levers and hit the export toggle to say, Posterous.
