Several decades ago saw the fleeing of families from the cities to the suburbs. Driven by the longing to own a piece of land further out from the city, or leaving run-down neighborhoods, the result was the same.

Bryan Watkins sells real estate in the Phoenix-Tempe-Mesa light rail corridor. He co-owns the niche specialty website www.LightRailConnect.com. In December it will be almost two years since the light rail opened in the Phoenix Metro area. Whether popular or not, it is here to stay at a cost of $70 million/mile.
