The community is invited to participate in a Public Observatory Night at the Community College of Aurora at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 10. The public is invited to come out and see various deep sky objects through the only public observatory in Aurora.
The event includes a talk in CCA’s Fine Arts Building Forum, as well as observing through the telescope (weather permitting).
Two other public observatory nights will be held at CCA this fall: at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 15, and at 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 12. Each event is free and open to the public.
Public observatory nights will take place at 16000 E. CentreTech Parkway, Aurora. For more information and for the times and dates of future observatory nights, see http://www.ccaurora.edu/observatory/index.shtml.
