Such great advice! I just yesterday reminded my brother-in-law that as his 6 children begin to buy homes, that they should be looking to me for assistance - no matter where in the country!!!! I explained that I have an excellent referral base of friends across the country, ready to help! He was excited, too.
Thank you, You are so right we need to make sure that everyone around us know we are Real Estate Agents!!!!
Hi Ken ...This was a great one, and so true!, My own brother just bought a house about 6 months ago on the Ct coast about 50 miles from us...He went on about how buying this house through the OPEN HOUSE agent was the best DEAL and he didn't really think I could sell it to him there!! What he did'nt know is that I could have done Sooo much better for him with my 27 years experience alone...Like that even know there was a hole for the Sump Pump, none was included or set up to work for that price!! Result....They had a big rain storm, and the $2000. bamboo wood floor he put in the basement family room and sheet rock was buckled and ruined!! Going back to the builder, and that agent did nothing for him, and Insurance did not cover the damage. I would have NEVER missed that in that New Home, or what was written out in the contract, about the lack of it!! Experience counts for much more than meets the eye or the pocketbook!! God blees and Happy Selling!
