The Real Living Story about Powell / Delaware is really a story of two very different Delaware County communities.

City of Powell

Olentangy School District

Powell Pricing

City of Delaware

Delaware City School District

 City of Delaware

Another Delaware County communuty that is not featured in the Real Living Story video is the Lewis Center area.  Lewis Center is east of Powell just north of the Franklin County , Delaware County line.  The Polaris mall is on the south end of Lewis Center.  The Lewis Center area is served by the Olentangy School District like Powell.

Great post Maureen. Sadly, it gets even lower when you head on up to Ashley and Radnor.

It is amazing to compare Buckeye Valley and Olentangy regarding the funding that each school receives.

I am showing in Delaware later this afternoon...  I remember showing a house in Radnor in about 1992 and my buyer was freaked by how far out it was. She had major pizza delivery concerns.  It was a gorgeous house with a Radnor mailing address... my buyers  built in the Polaris area which is closer than it used to be, that used to be "far out."  They had a Galena address in the early 90's, have a Lewis Center address now.  I am sure Radnor is getting closer all the time too.

I was telling someone about Ashley the other day.

Did you watch the video?  Who am I to criticize but I think the two markets are very dissimilar, I spent the video going "Powell", "Delaware",  "Delaware", "Powell."

A trip to Delaware is fun.  It does have a nice small town feel but I bet more people from Powell spend time in Columbus, Worthington, Dublin restaurants, shopping and events than City of Delaware restuarants, shopping and events.

I didn't catch the video. I'll have to go look at it. I have to agree that there is a huge difference in heading south of Delaware.

I think you are totally right that they could take southern Delaware County and lump it into Columbus and noone would mind. But from about Gates Mill north and it is a totally different market. Of course, that's going to change with the new Wal-Mart (maybe) or whatever goes in on 23 at the south end.
