It seems somewhat of a let down...after the family all goes back home.
For Labor Day, I fed 14 and it was such a delightful dinner.
Roast Beef and gravy, Creamed potatoes, Corn, Butterbeans, EggPlant and Onions, Cucumber in Vinegar, sweet tea and homemade peach cobbler.
All ate until they were quite satisfied..
I Love Holidays with the family.
Oh my goodness....I wish I was there that sounds so good! I'm hungry now :)
Ginger, Isn’t it odd … the quiet and stillness we feel when a house filled with family empties. One thing that remains … in the home and in our hearts … and that is the love and joy of the moments shared. Sounds like your heart is beaming!
