I can't stand it anymore. What, you ask??? The chain restaurants. The food is always the same and most of the time it sucks. The service tends to be pretty bad. And for a special dinner or meal, it just doesn't get the job done. So if you are like me, you need to check out Café TH at 2108 Pease St. This is for a couple reasons:
- The restaurant has a great feel to it. It is very relaxed, I don't feel rushed to finish my meal. This feeling comes from the top, the owner Minh is a very relaxed and cool guy. It seems like he knows all his customers by their first name
- THE FOOD!! Not only is it extremely reasonable, check out the Menu. But I am also addicting to his brand new egg rolls. They are like Spring Rolls, but Fried. It tastes so fresh. You can also get Vietnamese sandwiches (my favorite), soups, rice dishes and vermicelli. And don't worry, they also have amazing Tofu if you like vegetarian dishes.
- The location- it is right off 59. and almost walking distance to Toyota Center and Minute Maid Park. Any time I stop to visit the Zoo or Houston Museums, I stop by and eat at Café TH.
I will be the first to say that I am a finicky eater. But, I love café TH. Go by and visit Minh, you won't regret it. And make sure to get the NEW egg rolls. Check out their website www.cafeTH.com
