In the past two days, two new reports have given Raleigh some positive press. Here's what we're bragging about this week:

Best Net Employment Outlook in the U.S.

That's right. A study recently conducted by Manpower, a recruiting firm, concluded that the Raleigh-Cary metro area has the best hiring outlook for the fourth quarter of this year. According to the study, more than 20 percent of employers in the area are planning to hire, a higher rate than anywhere else in the nation.

Raleigh Ranks Among Least-Stressed in Largest U.S. Metros

Portfolio.com just released the results of their stress survey, in which they studied the top 50 largest metro areas in the U.S. Out of those, Raleigh ranked 47th, meaning we're among the least-stressed metro areas in the nation! Factors considered in the ranking included: Unemployment, income, growth, poverty, sunshine, unhealthy air, crime, commuting and housing costs. And Raleigh passed every test with flying colors -- way to go, Raleigh!
