Active Rain recently had its first Carnival of Real Estate and I entered my column "Calling a Scam a Scam, But is it Really" and was named the first winner in the industry news section!

First, I'd like to thank the academy, oh wait, nevermind.

Actually, I do want to thank Maureen for coming up with this great idea, and to Jay and Francy for hosting and selecting this week's blog winner.

Funny, I spent 15 years as a professional writer and this is probably only about the third time, I've ever been honored for my writing. The first was a communication scholarship to Mt. Union College and the second was an honor when I was in sports information at Heidelberg.
