I flipped when I called one of my Santa Cruz County Short Sale clients and found out they had lied about talking to an attorney when I asked that they get the Short Sale Approval reviewed. What a liability!
Short Sale clients are in distress and can't afford to retain legal counsel. It took a month and I interviewed about 20 firms to find one that was "Short Sale friendly" that I could partner with, to assist my short sales.
Yesterday, I finally landed on one company and signed up on the dotted line. They got rave reviews from 2 other CA agents that have used them . . . but I am a skeptic. I have a doozy of a Short Sale listing coming my way with b. My clients are in their late 70's that are not computer friendly and have really got themselves into real mess. TRIAL by fire!
