As I looked out the front window this afternoon there were about eight deer in my front yard feeding on the scrubs and grass.  We received four and a half inches of rain on Monday and Tuesday and everything that grows sure greened up in a short time.  The deer love to eat out of the flower beds and the wild persimmon trees.  The persimmons are ripe now and falling off of the trees so it brings the deer into the yard to eat them. They get ripe at the same time as the acorns fall from the oak trees and this is fine with me, I wish that they would eat everyone of them.  We have about fifteen wild persimmon trees and they can make a mess if not cleaned up so I like for the deer to come and get them.  Here are a few pictures of to-days deer.

I PROMISE I SHALL NOT POST ANY MORE DEER PICTURES UNTIL NEXT TIME.

You are very kind to share your harvest and make them famous here on ActiveRain. By the way, if deer are dear to you, keep telling their stories.

Don,

I do enjoy the pictures you post.  These deer look curious; however not frightened.
