In the wake of an illegal immigrant killing a nun and seriously injuring 2 passengers in the same car in early August, VA Gov Bob McDonnell has advised the VA DMV to not accept federally issued work authorization cards as proof of legal status when issuing VA drivers licenses.

The 23 year old illegal immigrant, Carlos Montano, had received such a card over a year ago AFTER he had received his second DUI and while his deportation paperwork was pending.

KUDOS to the Price William Commonwealth Attorney for inditing Montano for MURDER for the death of sister Denise Mosier.  If convicted, he could face 40 years in prison.  KUDOS to GOP Gov McDonnell for stopping this loophole that is one of the MANY flawed federal immigrant regulations.

Lane * majority of 911 hijackers had VA drivers licenses.  Former DEMOCRATIC VA Govs Werner and Tim Kaine (now DNC chair) did NOTHING about fixing this issue with our DMV!!!
