Past Clients are your Best source....Have Coffee with them today!

 Meeting with Sold Clients

When I was a Sales Manager I used to ask my Realtors "Why did they come to the office every morning for Coffee" And then hanging around all morning. I used to suggest to them they were better off have a coffee with their last client they just sold a house too, "They think you're wonderful and like you"  Plus they'll gladly help you with your business if you ask for referrals and a Testimonial.

This Business can get us all bogged down doing stuff...Drop by and say hi to your clients, they'll greet you with open arms, and Send them a Note once in a while..."Just thinking of you, have a wonderful day!" or " It's been a while, lets do lunch!"

Notes to clients and your sphere, can be very rewarding, especially if you are thoughtful.

Keep in touch with your clients, it will pay you huge dividends.

Cheers to you all, Have an Awesome Day!

With past clients you've got a fairly substantial referral database built up, also friends, family, and their friends and family. They know and trust you, so you have a good chance at getting their business.

Its always good to stay in touch with past clients. I called to check up one of my formers clients and she told me they are going to be calling me in a few weeks to list their home.

Vicki...Good Move,it pays to stay in touch, but it's not easy, we all need to schedule this into out daily and weekly activity, if you cannot drop by, send at least 5 postcards everyday to someone that touched your life that day or  past clients to say "Lets have a coffee"

Cheers, have an awesome day!

It is easier to stay in touch with a past customer than a new one.  It is an often forgetten segment of business.  They need to hear from you throughout the year...not just at Christmas.  Good reminder to wish customers a "good day".

Hi Fran...it so easy we all over look the simple contact of dropping by, phoning or sending a postcard.

When is Brian coming to Canada and where?

I used to be on his coaching program, for 2 years, dropped off because most of the cap items were US focused(i.e. Gifts, tax info, etc).

I still send out my postcards, but need to get back calling my past clients more often.

Thanks for dropping by :O)

Cheers, have an awesome day!

Fred - past clients are where it's at! If they don't buy something else - They probably like you and will refer you!

And...sometimes they return the favor!  Two of my clients took ME out to dinner last night for my birthday.  If you are new to the referral network system...keep at it.  It is the key to my success in the busy, complicated Bay Area real estate market.

Great idea and a good way to stay in touch.  Clients REALLY do appreciate the fact you still talk to them after the commission check has been deposited/cashed/spent.  If you do your referral dialogues during the process before closing, they are very happy to provide referrals and the coffee/lunch is a great way to stay top of mind with them

Hi Derek,

Yes you are right Buyers and Sellers appreciate you coming by, it shows you're interested in them, not just your commission cheque. Drop by every six months with a small gift, such as note pad, and always say you appreciate their business, and love their referrals.

Cheers, have an awesome day!
