I talked a few weeks ago about the iPad and the things that we could do to better our business, I want to be sure to keep you updated with the things that I find along the way. For most of us blogging is very important to us. Wouldn't it be great if we could write a blog at baseball practice without having to carry a bulky laptop with us? That was a thought of mine when I discussed getting a iPad. My husband surprised me with it for my birthday, by the way. :)
Back to the story... I was a little upset that I would not be able to post a blog directly in AR, but with the update coming later in the year we will be able to. Today I happened across a internet blog that talked about iPad and Google Docs. Two of my most favorite things these days. I write my blogs in Google Docs as a regular practice so I was VERY intrigued by this. The app is called Office 2 HD, when you search for it in the app store just search Office because the 2 is little2 and does not come up in search. Better yet search Google Docs. So I did a little reading as I always do even if it was only $7.99, decided that it would be worth the try. Just so you know I am writing this blog from my iPad colored fonts and all! I feel like I have discovered a gold mind! Let's see what happens when we add a photo to the blog...
Well that was just too easy! I used this screen shot from AR, it was the first time I was on the NC page. I have to say already that this may be the best $7.99 that I have ever spent.
Just so you know also I am using the touch screen keyboard nothing extra. I find typing on this key board to be extremely easy.
The thing is getting the post to AR? It will automatically save in my Google Doc account so that is easy enough, just log in cut and paste like I always do. So I can not post while on the go, at least I have not figured out how, YET. But I CAN write a post from wherever I am! That is truly progress!

P.S. If you have the post in your draft file you can change the status to "public" to post it from your iPad. Also I just discovered that you CAN comment from the iPad now!!! Someone did something and I like it!! This is my front screen and favorite "work" apps so far.....
