31 Comments on All at one place - Google Android Applications for Real Estate Professionals
No problem :) hope that you enjoy them, take care !
Ray - I will get google android application. Thanks for the information.
John,
You are welcome if you have any other android apps that you want to share, please let us know, take care !
I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to get an android phone because I couldn't transfer all my Palm data. www.CompanionLink.com has several apps that make transfer and syncing between competing manufacturers possible, either online or to your hard drive.
Awesome list of apps!!! Didn't know this group was here. I've been writing blogs about my Droid phone and apps for awhile since getting it last November. They really are the best phones out there!
Brian,
Companion link can do miracles for people who uses outlook , yahoo and gmail and other services. thanks for writing this here again so people gets aware of it.
I will add it in the above list when I can, thx
Kathleen,
I'd would be awesome if you want to refresh your blogs about Google and android or include them in the group, in my opinion for organization things are the best phones :)
Ray, Thanks for starting the group! I can echo what I replied on an earlier blog...
LOVE my Droid X; The screen is wonderful for showing clients properties for sale, our Company and our MLS both have great mobile sites that work perfectly with the Droid... I've downloaded some great Apps, most for pleasure but a few are coming in handy for business... (I've only paid for one App, SkyDroid, the rest have been free)
RealCalc is a better calculator than the Driod X... the Kindle App is great, I love having a couple of books on hand at all times... Amortization Calculator certainly comes in handy as a Realtor... I Heart Radio is great... Google Sky Map is real cool... Lightning Bug is awesome for 'soundscapes' working in the office... Mortgage Calculator is another good Amortization tool... Shazam and Soundhound are great for you music lovers... Urbanspoon is a great app when you just can't figure out where to eat...
I've also put a few fun games on for the kids and trivia apps as well.
like I said, LOVE my Droid X... Enjoy!
Thanks for the invite Ray, I joined the group this morning.
Bill,
Welcome and thanks for sharing your apps, hope that you can find useful information here about Google and Android if you want to share anything on these topics it will be awesome, take care !
Maureen,
A pleasure, find and share any experience that you may have, take care and see you soon !
Wow! A lot of apps.
My favortie is TicTacToe
PHil
These are some of my favorites:
Flashlight
Expensify - track business expenses along with a photo of the receipt
ACar - track mileage
WordPress - post from your phone
Realtor.com
Chrome to Phone - send links, email addresses, etc from your Chrome browser to your Droid
eKey - for Supra box users
Astrid Tasks - when combined with Locale, it can give you a location based to-do list (e.g. Make sure the water heater is turned off at XYZ address). I haven't tried this one out yet so I hope it works as promised.
Kathy Strieb told me about this group...so I joined. I got a DroidX for Christmas, and not sure what apps to add, the costs etc but this list is helpful.
How about Tweetdeck for twitter, I don't know of anything that comes close.
Swyype for typing, 2x the spped to tapping...
the list does get longer, doesn't it? the apps are amazing on this phone! we used a disneyland app to see wait times while we were there.
Ray * I got my EVO 4G yesterday * White with Cool protective PINK cover * I'm up and running THANKS to your excellent posts~! Thank you!
I have the HTC EVO 4G and am on Sprint. I have been testing out the EVO's Hotspot that turns the phone into a wireless hotspot. It works great so far.
I'm a big Outlook user so all of my business address book, calendar, etc. are in Outlook. One issue when switching from a Blackberry to an Android phone was the difficulty I have had finding an app that syncs fully with Outlook. For me, it's the Notes section of Outlook. Many don't use Notes but I do and that's been the issue. DejaOffice/CampanionLink is the only app out there that I have found that does this. Not a bad app, works rather well but for me, I do have a problem syncing with my laptop and I'm working through that issue, but overall not a bad app for now.
Showings.com has an app that works great when you need to schedule a showing. It's feature set is pretty good. Another great tool is Realtor.com's app, it uses your phone's GPS to help you find listings "nearby".
eKey is a great app which I have switched to as well. I no longer have to worry about syncing my Supra key at home which I have "forgotten" to grab off of it's cradle a few times early in the morning, only to realize 20 miles from home that I didn't have my access key. Switching to eKey and it's bluetooth key fob has been big for me. See if your local board has eKey and make the switch.
Since I am just about to switch to an android phone, I'm glad I discovered this list! Thank you for posting it. I'm sure I'll get a lot of benefits from these apps.
Thanks for sharing --- This is very helpful - glad I joined the group. Have a great day.
Thanks for starting this great list, I have many of these, and many of them will be checked out soon. and I will suggest a few more soon.
