11 Comments on The ActiveRain Point System
I was not aware you earn points off of members who joined at your invitation - good to know!
Ruth - This is valuable information for newbies as well as other people who are not familiar with the point system.
THe points are fun to accieve. I don't always post everyday and think I could have done more. Sometimes it's hard to get in all the 10 comments a day.
There has been one change since this... you must have 25 words for any reblog to get the 25 points!
I don't think I ever really read this. Thank you, Ruth.
Ruth, thanks for the info. Guess I should start inviting more people to AR!!! :)
Ruth ~ thanks for the re-blog. Now I have a better understanding of the point system.
Ann, It's kind of like interest on your savings... it keeps growing even if you don't make any new deposits.
Mortage Finders, If you add a photo you'll get a nice surprise (extra points!)
Lizette, I am also guilty of that - especially in the summer. Good to hear from you again!
Joan, Hadn't heard that about the 25 words. Interesting.
Jane, I've always said we get rewarded in points at AR for doing what you should be doing. You are a shining example of just doing things right instinctively.
Sonja, Hey, it's a PARTY... the more the merrier!
Do you get points for a post that is just a photo (e.g. for Speechless Sundays), or does it have to have the minimum amount of words to go with it?
Ruth - Thank you for the information on Active Rain point system. Very helpful blog.
Marie-Denise, You must write at least 50 words to score any points. However, you can accumulate points for comments.
John, You crack me up!
