This weekend (9/11 & 9/12) the Thousand Oaks Arts Festival featuring more than 60 visual art exhibitors, live performances, hands-on art activities for children, raffle, and wine tasting & gourmet food trucks from 2 - 5pm at The Lakes.
The Lakes at Thousand Oaks, CA is a beautiful shopping and dining area located right off the 101 Freeway in on Thousand Oaks Blvd between Hampshire and Rancho Rd. The seventh annual Thousand Oaks Arts Festival features more than 60 visual art exhibitors, live performances, hand-on art activities for children, a raffle, wine tasting, and gourment food trucks.
The Lakes prides itself on small boutiques rather than large chain stores:
Blizz Frozen Yogurt, Brighton Collectibles, California Pizza Kitchen, Claim Jumper, Kalologie Skincare, M. Fredric, Nate 'n Al Delicatessen, P.F. Chang's, China Bistro, the new Sabor Cocina Mexicana (I went there today, it's VERY GOOD!), The Coffee Bean & Tea Lea, Tommy Bahama and White House l Black Market.
Fountains, outdoor dining, the Lake, music - all add to the ambience of a delightful experience!
