Today is not a day to think about crazy pastors in Gainesville Florida or rotten imams in New York City. Today is a day of mourning for all the people that were murdered in an act of war against our country on September 11, 2001.
God Bless America. We will not forget. This song is a great tribute to all the victims from the World Trade Center, Pentagon, and Pennsylvania.
I hope by "we will not forget", we also add "we will understand" why it happened.
Once we completely have that under our belt, we will all truly be the wiser for it and help to prevent things like this in the future.
Rob - this is a day that we should not forget and while honoring those that have been lost, both on that day and since, it should also serve as a reminder that we must be ever vigilant and prepared.
