For the past years the Baylands trails that run from East Palo Alto through San Jose has been compromised because of the fact that a 2.4 mile portion of the trail that goes into Sunnyvale behind Moffett Field had been blocked off by bolted up gates. After four years of collaboration among many different agencies local leaders are set to "cut the bolt", in order to provide a continuous pathway from East Palo Alto to San Jose!
The "bolt cutting" ceremony will take place on September 20th starting at 10:30am - noon at the east gate on the Sunnyvale side of Moffett Field.
