Hampton Park Foreclosures

Ok, so now that you are still with me, let's talk about what an extraordinarily intelligent person already knows. You already know that foreclosures are some of the best deals that you can possibly get when buying real estate right now. We can talk about foreclosures all over Southwest Florida, but for today, let's focus on one of the most phenomenal deals out there: Hampton Park foreclosures.
Hampton Park was originally developed by WCI during the boom. Since then, much has happened within the community. WCI has gone through bankruptcy, some homes have tested positive for Chinese drywall, and the community was not completely built out.
All of these facts made for rough times on property values. Some people who purchased in the community found themselves unable to keep up on their mortages and could not stay afloat. Because of this, Hampton Park foreclosures have entered the market and prices are just ridiculously low.
Even though the hardships happened in Hampton Park, the future is very bright. Lennar has now purchased the remaining developed lots and are selling new construction homes at a fast pace. Also, news of the new Boston Red Sox Spring Training facility "Fenway South" has signified renewed interest in Gateway in Fort Myers. These are both VERY good signs!
Another important fact to know about Hampton Park foreclosures. There are never very many on the market. They come, they go...FAST.
