Workshops Rain Barrel Construction. September 18. Learn how to make and use your very own rain barrel. Topics include making the barrel, using the water and connecting more than one for maximum storage capacity. Held at CASEE 11104 NE 149th Street, Brush Prairie. You must pre-register to attend the class. $35 fee payable to Clark County Treasurer buys a rain barrel to take home.

 

Creatures of the Night. Thursday, September 23, 5:30 - 7:30pm. A FREE and informative FAMILY event that celebrates all of the animals that come out after dark. Learn about bats, see a live screech owl and dissect an owl pellet. Then take a stroll along the river to look for some of these amazing creatures. Volunteer Opportunities The StreamTeam sponsors the Stream Stewards program for people interested in making a difference in the great outdoors. Phil, uhh...I think that would be moss.  And why wouldn't moss be considered a green roof?  I'll have to ask the experts.
