City Comfort In a Park-Like Setting

By
Real Estate Agent with Compass

The McLean Gardens community is unique in DC.  Built during World War II for employees of the Department of Defense, the flats and duplexes were converted to condos in the early 1980s.  Situated on 35 acres of green land with mature trees and bordering public parkland, the development is situated in Cleveland Park, one of DC's more expensive neighborhoods.  Yet the roughly 1,000 units are still relatively affordable, and the location offers all the conveniences of life in upper NW DC.  Metro, shopping, restaurants and entertainment are in walking distance, as are numerous trails, schools and sports facilities.  And did I mention the low fees, extra storage and large pool that the owners or tenants can enjoy?

Currently, there are 8 condos for sale at McLean Gardens, ranging in price from $325,000 (for a large studio plus loft) to $515,000 for a 4 bedroom/2 bathroom unit.  In the past 6 months, 10 units have sold, for prices between $336,900 and $517,000.  They spent an average of 23 days on the market.  Two units are currently under contract.

Enjoy the tour for this new listing on Rodman St NW!

Hey, Cati!  Very nice presentation!  And you did a great job with the staging, too.

Pat--believe it or not, they actually live like that!  It was the first time I was on a shoot with Piers where he didn't even ask me once to move things out of the way!
