Speechless Sundays:

Architectural Details

I took this photo last week in front of an old center-hall colonial house in Chevy Chase that my office may be listing.

You don't see this type of detail in many homes here, and it reminded me of some of the detail I say on the old apartment buildings when I was in Paris.

When I saw it, it thought "Rats!  I don't have my camera with me!"

But I did!

Right in my hand!

So I held up my handy little I-Phone and touched the photo app.  And this is what I got!

And it's not the new fancy I-Phone either!  It's the couple of years old model.

Have a great week, everyone!

Pat - I love these details. It definitely reminds me of Europe.  I have a collection of photos of architectural details - some day I will do something with them.

Wow, great photos from an iphone - that's for sure.  They don't make architecture like that anymore.

It's amazing what photos a "phone" can capture. I no longer think of my Blackberry as a phone--it's a computer!

Pat- Very cool. The details of old architecture are far nicer than what we see today. Your iphone has a great camera.
