We attended a birthday party for couple of my nieces this weekend. There was lots of family, a few friends of the other family, lots of food and quite a bit of fun. The kids had a blast and were pretty unaware that the day turned into night other than some crankiness by the kids (the birthday girls were 3 and 5, my daughter is 4).... As the party went along, there were activities and fun stuff for the kids to do, but ultimately, they get tired... So just wondering, when you have a family type event for kids, what do you think is an appropriate time of day for younger kids and how long should a party go?
