In the process of packing and getting ready to leave from D.C. to Austin, Texas in about 3 hours. I am pretty frugal so I am flying on 3 different planes to get there, but hey I saved about $150. I'm on my way to Keller Williams Mega Camp.
My first session is tomorrow hearing the guest speaker Chris Gardner who the movie "Pursuit of Happyness" was about. That afternoon is Technology Camp and I am giddy with delight. I love that techy stuff and look forward to learning as much as I can. Wednesday and Thursday is when Keller Williams presents Mega Camp. I joined Keller Williams about 6 weeks ago and am about to be submerged into Keller Williams philosophy, practices and knowledge. I am excited!
I have not been to a convention/conference/etc since I attended the NAR convention when it was in Atlanta in 1995. I learned so much and put so much in practice that the next year 1996 was my breakout year and since I was licensed the end of 1994 I was into real estate only 18 months when my business exploded. I lived in Atlanta so at the end I went home. This time I am a visitor so I look forward to actually socializing with my peers for the next 3 nights and getting to know Austin, Texas. I am told it is a fantastic city.
I look forward to putting into practice what I learn these next few days so to help my sellers and buyers to achieve their dream. I would love tips from my KW agents out there on what to expect and what not to miss.
