When I was in junior high school... or as it is called now called, middle school ...my friends and I would start laughing so hard at something that struck us as funny (as many things did) that we couldn't stop laughing. We laughed until our sides actually hurt.
Those middle school moments don't happen as often these days, maybe because I don't have a lot of silly girlfriends anymore. But last week I had one of those middle school moments.
My husband and I have been on Weight Watchers for about 5 months now and have both lost weight. Since Stephen is much more muscular than I am and also does more physical work than I do, his weight loss has been more dramatic than mine.
Last week we were watching TV together and Stephen took his belt off to show me how many notches he has gone down on his belt. Later when he stood up from sitting in the recliner, his pants fell down below his hips. It made for a dramatic weight-loss moment and was such a funny sight that I had a middle school moment and couldn't stop laughing.
Stephen says he doesn't want to lose any more weight because he would have to buy new clothes. He needs to buy them, anyway. I don't think he realizes how baggy they look. Heck, without a belt his pants are on the ground.
