Teaching kids to eat healthy is more mainstream these days. Wouldn't it be something to have a show where kids teach kids about healthy food choices and organic gardening? Maybe there is already something like this, I don't know. I'm thinking like the food network. Maybe called, "Future Chefs."
It probably isn't very realistic. Kids need to be kids. But every now and again a child will show up that has a certain quality that you just know is going to develop into big part of who they will be when they grow up. A uniqueness that makes them awesome.
Guy Fieri had that kind of quality at a young age.
I see that in Benjamin.
Here's a kid who is filled with imagination, energy and insight. He loves to make things grow. Whether it's from a seedling or brewing his own kefir water sodas, Benjamin is a natural born enthusiast at everything he does.
This is a video this kid made all by himself. Just like he has his own show on the food network, he prepares a delicious salad while he discusses the types of tomatoes, peppers and salbei he's using to create his dish. He's 8 years old.
The lighting isn't that great but when you listen to him (he doesn't miss a beat) and his knowledge of the vegetables, some grown in his own garden, I can imagine what he'll be like all grown up. I enjoyed watching it. I hope you do too.
