The outdoor room?

I would like to address the importance of outdoor spaces....in today's housing market.... There are a host of VANILLA HOMES.....face it....and it is a buyers market....so what sells a home...3 bathrooms with his and her sinks, TONS of bedrooms, basement, granite counter-tops, a wine cooler??  Maybe, but the outdoor living space is as important.now..I am writing this from the North East where are seasons are limited from May - October....but how awesome is it to have a fire pit, or chimina with a grouping of chairs for those cooler nights?   How about a deck with a heating lamp and some outdoor white lights on the trees.... Its all about ambiance and making an outdoor space feel so very special.   So add some lights, fire,  and a seating areas or two...to create a special place...Your buyers will be able to picture them selves out on the patio, deck, court with their friends and their favorite beverage....Put on some soft jazz.....set the tables, under a colorful umbrella... Add some potted Palms, flowers, what ever is in the growing season in our area....Make the outdoor space special , it may be the difference in the tie breaker!
