So, when we look back upon this real estate market, will we think it was a beautiful time?  Does Freud mean struggle builds character?  We become better, stronger people because of the climb to get where we are?

Does this Freudian phrase apply to all aspects of life?  Perhaps the real estate market is the exception?  I for one do not think this struggle has been beautiful!
