1. 55.6 million adults (1/3 of the population) in the United States visit social network sites at least monthly.
2. Generation Y will outnumber the Baby Boomer generation by the end of 2010.
3. 96% of the Generation Y are a member of a social network.
4. Almost 66% of active internet users have joined a social network.
5. YouTube is the second largest search engine in the world.
6. 80% of Twitter users are over the age of 25.
