Sometimes it seems that the media focuses on just the bad news, so when something positive happens I try to share it. And this week the good news is the August Retail Sales Data

There is no doubt that the debate over the reform of the GSEs (Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac) is on many people's minds, mine included. I first wrote about the Conference on the Future of Housing Finance at the Treasury Department over a month ago, and then followed up with the aptly named Follow Up to the Hot Issue of Reform for Freddie and Fannie.
