Motivational Power Quote

Turn a Disadvantage Into an Advantage

"There is an advantage in every disadvantage

and a gift in every problem."

John Johnson, American Businessman and Publisher

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Turn a disadvantage into an advantage

A disadvantage is an opportunity waiting to be discovered.

How we look at a disadvantage will determine what we'll see and how we'll respond to the disadvantage. When we look at a disadvantage and see an advantage we are seeing the disadvantage through a positive prospective of our glass being half full.

A person that can see the advantages in their disadvantage will see the best in their situation and will look for the ways to maximize their opportunities.

Success will be achieved by the person that can effectively work though their disadvantages and turn them into advantage.

When we look at our world through a positive paradigm we will turn a disadvantage into an advantage.

Thanks for the quote, Lou!  Yesterday I was having a particularly bad attitude day due to circumstances out of my control --- hey, that's life, right? -- and it really does help to try to see the positive in everything (although sometimes REALLY difficult to).  Have a great day!

I see this as positioning. You can look at this market and think it is bad or look for where it is good and take advantage. Thanks for the post Lou

Reminds me of one of my heroes, Thomas Edison, and the apocryphal quote, "I have not failed 1,000 times. I have successfully discovered 1,000 ways to not make a light bulb."

Lou,  I LOVE this one.  You are spot one!  Every situtation has an opportunity in it, we just have to see it and choose it.  Great job!  ...geri
