To Suck, or Not to Suck - that is the Question
This morning my coffee pot died. It was 7:07 a.m. and all it was capable of doing was turning out a half-pot of java. I pulled out the vinegar but the machine has lost it's "sucking" capacity. For the past year we've had to pour our cups of coffee over the sink, for some reason it spills ALL over the place. It hasn't been our favorite appliance.
But lo, my saga continues. In the subsequent FOUR hours, I've attempted to add photos to my intended morning's blog on the Tucson Symphony Orchestra, and every time I go to upload, my computer gets disconnected from being offline. Frozen. Kaput.
In other words, uploading this morning sucks, unlike my coffee pot, that DOESN'T suck.
I attempted to use my "microwave minutes" as I learned on AR this week from Anna Glebova, and since my computer wasn't working properly, quickly plugged in my external hard drive and did a shadow copy of my computer in case it crashed. I ran a virus scan, sipped on some instant coffee, visited my mother via phone, and kept coming back and trying again. I've rebooted and unplugged and restarted and reset countless times.
But four hours is a waste of time, and I have a lot to do today. In the spirt of the 30/30 challenge, I must keep blogging, so, I apologize but for today, my photo uploading abilities "suck".
I think while I'm out I'll get some tootsie-roll lollipops. Good things come to those willing to "suck" once in a while.
