Back in June 2009 I wrote my very first post. I went back to revisit it and had a little chuckle not only the way looked but because it still says "members only". After my first post I knew I needed to be a member. Why blog if you weren't going to make it public to the world.Drum roll please..... I'm About to Hit 100,000 Points on ActiveRain
I quickly found myself engulfed in ActiveRain. I loved the fact that so many Realtors had come to one meeting place to share what they know, think, and feel. Even if you never wanted to make a post you could just read for hours the information from newbies to veterans. I found myself learning, crying, laughing, angered, excited and sharing my opinions with each post I read. I definitely think it's important to express your opinion to each as long as it's done with respect.
Just like America everyone is entitled to think, feel, and write how they want. That's why I love it here. I can read something that is completely opposite of how I feel but learn a new perspective. At the end I may still disagree but I may have changed my mind a bit or looked at it in a whole new light. 
It amazes me for such a little amount of money a month I was able to take endless amounts of free classes to better my writing, my blogging, and best yet, my business. Not only did I learn how to make my blog look better but make it more effective.
Now a veteran myself I can honestly say joining ActiveRain by far is one the best decisions in my business I have made. I have proven closed transaction results from my hyper-local area blogging posts. I have received a steady referral source just by one comment I made on a post. And I have learned a tremendous amount of knowledge from Ben, Bob, Brad, Steve and seasoned agents all over the country just wanting to share.
