Wordless Wednesday ~ Have you Tasted an Orange Mouse?

What's For Dinner??

I was sitting at my favorite sushi bar Hayashi Grill in Surprise (near Sun City Grand) as this dish was being served to the couple next to me. We practiced taking a picture of it with our cell phones, then emailing the picture.  The general consensus was that it's a mouse. I'll let you decide.

Karen Anne, YIKES! It's hard to eat a kitten. :)  I'll delete the group on my end.  Thank you.

Nice I am not sure what that is.  I have never seen anything like it.

So... you think it is a mouse, I think it is a cat.  Looks like we're gonna play "cat and mouse," huh ?  <smile>

The thing about sushi is the presentation.  May be another rodent... maybe a mole... but the presentation is amazing... food art..

Looks like a mix between a cat/mouse.  I do like the presentation but never acquired a taste for Sushi.  ;-(

Karen Anne, cat or mouse, I wouldn't eat either, unless its orange. :)

Darren, that's why it's delectable.

Anita, it's not about the sushi, it's about the presentation.  BTW, I wish I had learned to carve oranges for my children when they were growing up.

Chris, you can't help but smile.

Steve, they skilfully carve these little creatures very quickly.

Juli, that would take a larger orange.

Hi Leolinda... so... what was in the sushi roll?  I am curious to know if it was something special to go with the theme.

I think it's a mouse, too, but you lost me when you said sushi. There are few foods that I dislike, but sushi is one of them.
