That is the topic for the Lehigh Valley Horse Council's meeting on Thursday, Sept. 16, 2010.

 

The speaker will be Mr. Al Miskevish of Stone Mountain Ranch.

 

The meeeting will be held at Manito Equestrian Center on Cedar Crest Blvd. in Allentown at 7PM.  The general public is welcome to attend, even if you are not a member.

 

The Lehigh Valley Horse Council is a non-profit organization devoted to promoting equine activities and educating the horse owner and the general public.  The horse council sponsors clinics and lecture that feature experts on every aspect of horsemanship and are offered FREE to everyone.

The proper bit is sooo important.  It is amazing how many folks just assume their horse is not listening or acting up because the horse is bad. 

The right bit can change everything.  Good luck at your event!

You are sooooo right about having the proper bit in your horse's mouth.  Each horse is different and they are usually tell you when they are uncomfortable.  It is up to us to listen and correct.
