Mystery Photo Contest: The Answer and the Winner

Hi Joan -- yes, it's a nice way to reach people and build a relationship. Many of my paper newsletter readers are Seniors, and they take the time to read it and will call in with their answers. The electronic version gets sent out primarily to sphere and clients. I post it here and also on Facebook.

I've had responses from all these different tracks. Hope you play next month!

Joshua - glad you like the view. It's not always one gets a shot like this from the plane.

Hi Mary -- I'm glad you checked in, too. I'll have a new contest up and running on or about September 30 -- take a look and send in your answer (or answers)

Gene, I've been telling you--you and your wife should come visit San Francisco -- you would have recognized this view!

Kidding aside, I'm trying to change the format of my mystery photos so that there are two questions each month; 1 that probably only local folks would knoww, and 1 that anyone might know or figure out.

So--please check out next month's contest and see if you have one of the answers. I should post it around September 30.

Jane--you really need to fly up for a 3-day weekend (or more!) Then you, too, would be familiar with this view! Michael O'Conner from southern California (Mira Loma) won one of the contests, so you can, too.

Kidding aside, Most months I try to find one question that many might know, regardless of where they live, so you do have a chance. Check back on September 30--I'm liking my thought for the next contest!

Kathy - Mt. Diablo, indeed, is a BIG mountain, and Danville is a pretty town. In another 6 or so weeks the weather ought to allow one to get out hiking and enjoying it again. Sure gets hot there in the summer!
