Labor Day is over but this weekend boasts two big events

Hopefully you were able to make it down for some of the live acts, good food and fun that Naperville's Last Fling offered the area over Labor Day weekend. If you are getting depressed thinking about the end of summer ... don't fret! There are options galore coming up starting as soon as tomorrow:

Regardless of rain or shine for the weekend (my weather app is showing potential rain at least Saturday but weather in the mid to high 70's), the Naperville Wine Fest will have seminars, wine tasting from over 200 worldwide varietals, food and live music.

This festival will be taking place at Naper Settlement (Friday 4 PM - 10 PM, Saturday 3 PM - 9 PM) and tickets are on sale through midnight Thursday here and available on site after that.

For its 25th year the Riverwalk Fine Art Fair will be featuring over 150 booths worth of nationwide artisans. The weekend event is free, goes from 10 AM to 5 PM and a list of participants is here.

September and October are chalk full of evening arts and entertainment, family events, literary activities and many, many live music celebrations. A full list of local events can be found via Naperville Magazine's site here. Summer may be all but over but that doesn't mean outdoor events have to come to a halt.
