The New Twitter.com

In an effort to provide a faster, richer user experience, Twitter introduced its new redesign of Twitter.com on September 14, 2010 to allow users to get more information related to the author or subject of a tweet without leaving the site.

For now, Twitter is rolling out the new design to a select group of users over the next several weeks as a preview to allow these users to become familiar with the new twitter.com. For the rest of use, we will have to wait. According to Twitter's YouTube Video, "The new Twitter.com is coming soon to all users!"

What do you think of the new Twitter? Will this get more people to use Twitter? Is this an opportunity for Twitter to monetized its site?

I have a pretty large twitter following and tweet daily, but quite honestly find it the least enjoyable of all the social media that I partake in.  I hope they make it more interesting, but I doubt it will ever match AR or facebook in entertainment and enjoyment value.

Twitter is always changing! It seems like there is a new Twitter.com every single week. I'm with Mike and Cindy on this one.
