Be mindful that your views are just that: "yours." It doesn't make them right and it doesn't make them wrong. It just makes them yours.
In playing your cards in the game of life you don't know exactly what hand you will be dealt. You will be dealt many hands from youth to middle age to old age should you live that long. With all different kinds of people and situations you will encounter, you get to practice relating to people. A tip:

Because if you judge them or disagree with them and dismiss them there is no place left to go forward.
Acceptance where people are, even if you VEHEMENTLY disagree with them, allows you to love them. And what is love? It is the caring of your fellow man right at the point in the road where they are at, in their journey that they have traveled thus far.
You have not walked in their shoes. You may have entirely different values than them. They might completely disagree with everything about you. It doesn't really matter if you can put acceptance of them FIRST, with dignity and respect. You will amaze people if you accept them where they are at. It has a HUGE calming effect on them. They don't view you as hostile straight out of the chute. You don't blast people up front with your opinions, and your "my way or the highway attitude". Instead you listen. You remain quiet. You soak in more what they say, and you learn better their viewpoint. A right or a wrong judgment call is based on a standard, but why does YOUR standard always have to be imposed on everyone around you?
Come at life and PEOPLE a little softer with first acceptance. If you need models look at a lot of really older people, and also dogs. It is unconditional love at its core. Too many people don't even believe unconditional love exists. But when you find it, you will know it. Acceptance just FLOWS out of unconditional love.
