Trying to sell your house? How much are you asking for?
After a long hard working day, you are so tired that you just kick back and relax when you are in your own castle.
To you, it is a piece of art after all the sweat equity you put in it. It has got to worth something? Right?
Right! But how much? Do you know? I am guessing you have a good figure of amount in your mind how much you want for your castle. Do you think it is priced as the market can support it? How do you know if a buyer will like your house or not? Do you think people will love your taste of decoration? You know, that green and purple wall you adore everyday when you come home. It took you 2 weekends to do that wall. Yes, that wall! Ahhhh.......
How do you find the answers for these questions? Easy! Talk to a real estate agent.
You know, if you need some legal advice, you go to talk to a lawyer. You need to get a mortgage loan, you go to talk to a mortgage lender. You don't feel well, you go to see a doctor. SO, you have real estate questions, you go to talk to your friends???? WRONG! Go to talk to a true real estate professional. Someone who can explain the selling process to you, give you an accurate market analysis, suggestions of how to present your house to "please" majority of buyers. Someone who cares of your concern but knowledgeable to help you with all the questions you have and work hard to find a buyer for your house.
What else do you have in mind? What are you waiting for? Go to call that real estate agent up and set up an appointment to talk to her/him.
Serving Marion, West Memphis, Crawfordsville, Hughes, Horseshoe Lake, and surrounding areas. If you are planning to sell or buy, please feel free to give me a call, I will be glad to help you.

This is great advice to those looking to sell their home...and the green and purple wall may have to go! Nicely done Rita!
This is a good blog to help consumers understand WHY they should consult a Realtor. There is so much negative publicity about what we do, this type of thing is helpful in developing an understanding of our profession.
You are absolutely right! People need to talk to a Real Estate Professional! In fact, the homeowner is probably one of the least qualified people to price their own home because they are the most biased.
I hope they all call you, Rita.....I would if I were selling my home in Marion Arizona.....
Wanda, yeah, I think that wall has to go to, lol. Thanks!
Holly, I truly hope this is simple enough for many to understand how we are and work. Thanks!
Curt, isn't that right? We are here to help them to understand how the market is, we work this everyday. And yes, we are the professional.
Barbara, you are so sweet! Thanks!
Rita you have such a great sense of humor. I'd use you any day for real estate advice. Your posts always make me smile.
Jenny, haha, yours too. I can't see people like us can go through a day without something to laugh about. I make fun of myself if I have to. lol You are always so sweet! By the way, where are you moving to? Have you settled down yet? Waiting for your post about your updates! ;)
The first reaction of your friends and family should be a good indication. If the first time they saw it and stepped back onto you toes or the word EWWWW! Was heard would be an indication that when the Realto says that needs to go...they are most likely right!
Ya know Rita...I have this old T-Shirt that I think I feel the same way as the green and purple wall!
Bill, I just got back from your post! haha. Isn't it right? Hey, I can put you in front of that wall, and you will blend right in, lol
Rita, this is great post! Suggested!
Silvia, thank you so much! I am glad you like it. I have fun writing it.
Rita, I thought for sure your favorite colors were green and purple. You mean you'd want to change that?
Lora, haha, green and purple is for Barney only! Remember a kid's show about a giant dinosaur which is green and purple aired about good 17 years ago. haha. Oh no, I don't think green and purple goes well with my skin tone, lol!!
You are right Rita, the key word is to talk to a 'TRUE Real Estate professional' who will be honest and upfront about the market price.
Eileen, yes, sellers need to listen to a true real estate professional if they want to set their house right from the get go.
Rita,
I found your post from Silvia Duke's reblog. You are so right real estate is sold faster, for more money and with fewer problems with an agent.
All The Best!
Steve
Steve, thank you for stopping by! And we hope sellers can get the picture.
