I am realizing with my last few transactions that no one seems to use the phone much anymore - at least not for verbal conversations. I almost feel like I am intruding when I use the phone to communicate (verbally). We are all using the phone, but mostly for texting and email. Which is good, I suppose, since it means more things are in writing. You just have to be sure to mean what you, and say what you mean, so nothing is misinterpreted. Another good thing - if you pay for a certain number of cell minutes or even if you have unlimited minutes - you may be able to review your plan and save a few bucks each month if you reduce the minutes or change from unlimited to a certain number of allowable minutes. I am going to review a couple of cell bills back and the next two and I think I will find I don't need all the minutes I am allowed.

The solution to that is to get busy prospecting. Then you can call all those new clients....which means more $$$$!

I'm also finding that to be true! It's nice because it produces a paper trail of what you are doing. Thanks for the post and yes I will check my minutes to see if I can drop down to a lower minute rate.

Joyce - I am one of the guilty ones who doesn't use the phone much. I save the phone for urgent matters. If it can wait a day or so, I send an email.
