I mentioned that we had been in Northern Utah most of the week, it was a good trip.  I just put myself into a little hole here on Active Rain.  While up there I came across a quote by General George Patton.  My Uncle served in World War II, while he was in infantry and not in Patton's brigades, he admired Patton.  He admired Patton for the fact that he led his troops into battle, he didn't just send them and stand back and watch.  Anyway, here is the quote:

"If everyone is thinking alike, then someone isn't thinking."

What a great quote, those who are true leaders in their fields didn't get there by doing what everyone else was doing.  They got there by finding another way to get things done!  That is our challenge, we hear often that Real Estate is in a getting back to basics mode.  It is nice to talk about, but are we doing it?  Are we integrating all of our marketing efforts?  What can we do that someone else isn't doing? 

These I believe are questions that we need to be asking ourselves each day.  I don't believe that the wheel needs to be re invented, but I do believe that we need to find what we do better than anyone else, and maximise our efforts in that area!  Have a Great Friday!

What a great quote. I am definitely one of those people that tends to go against the flow. I am not one to follow just to follow. I prefer to make my own path, have my own opinions and will share them! Differing opinions is a good thing! It is what makes us each individuals!

That quote could also apply to so much more than just thinking. Life would be boring if everyone looked the same, thought the same, spoke the same, etc.
