The 11th annual Taste of Lebanon Fall Festival will be held this weekend, Sept 17, 18 & 19 at Our Lady of Lebanon Church, 8 East Mountain Rd, Waterbury Ct

Hours:

Friday September 17 6 pm to Midnight
Mix provided by DJ

Saturday September 18 Noon to Midnight
Belly Dance Performance Mid Afternoon

Sunday September 19 following the 10:00 AM Mass to 7 PM

  • Lebanese Folk Dance Troupe

  • Outdoor Market Place

  • Cultural Displays

Debra, Lebanese cooking is very similar to Greek cooking, the difference being in the seasoning. The difference in the sweets is the Lebanese use a simple syrup for the pastry glazing and the Greeks use a lot of honey. Thanks for stopping.

Hey A & P, she will do most of her damage with the deserts, but I can expect at least 3 meals out of there this weekend, especially if I want to see her. My post tomorrow will have photos of the food!

Oh now this is an event I would be front and center at if I could get there ! Love the food, love the different cultural experience, and with the weather looking great, this should be a terrific event ! Will look fwd to the pictures !

Ed we use to have a taste of Middletown, but did not have one this year.  It is to bad that they stopped doing it because I really enjoyed the event.

I don't know much about Lebanese, except that one of my favorite people Danny Thomas was Lebanese.

 

I like to learn about different cultures, too bad not many Lebanese near me in Staten Island.
