All real estate is local.  I have put in some photos of some of the views that real estate in our area affords home owners.  As you can see, we have some outstanding views and some nice homes to take those views in!

Beautiful photos. Total scenic surreal and different from the concret jungle Manhattan new York.

Gorgeous. I love it out west and would love to have one of those homes with the mountain views. When I'm ready to buy a vacation home, I'll know who to go to ;-)

Gorgeous.  My brother used to live out there for a while but had a good job opportunity back here.  I think he will be back one day though and I can see why!

Yes it is local. So much that we fail to realize all too often. Sometimes the view out of the windows of the house trumps the house itself. Location, Location, Location! You can always change the house.   : )

Can't argue with you.  There is nothing like a mountain view---they are so majestic.  Like everywhere else, you no doubt pay a premium for the view!!

Eileen, This is true, we are different from New York City, or any other large city.  But we do have to drive to shop, so there is a trade off!

Shannon, We would love to help!

Stefan, Jobs are definately an issue here, I guess that is another tradeoff!  That and it is a long way to the beach!

Rob & Jeannie, Good point!  Houses can be changed, location can't!

Pat, Right now, not so much.  The tradeoff is the level of services, by that I mean there is travel included to do a lot of shopping (unless you love Walmart).  We do enjoy a great hospital, University, and the local schools are good.  So the essential services are good.

Janet, Thank you!  I am glad that things are working now, Thanks again!

Leolinda, We do have a few snakes, not a lot, but a few.

I like the way the clouds look liking they are sitting on the mountains. Oh. Wait. That's snow. Ack! Snow! LOL

Too bad the national media, and even a few prestigious people here at ActiveRain, don't seem to realize that real estate is local.
