Did you know that the Sun News website has an OPEN HOUSE page? It also has a map....HOWEVER, this is NOT BY ANY MEANS all of the Open Houses that are going on in Myrtle Beach. The ones mentioned on the Sun News site are the ones who have PAID for the advertising. In our Coastal Carolinas Association of Realtors Multiple Listing Site, we have the capability to list our Open Houses so that other Grand Strand Realtors may do a search. BUYERS actually have been known to purchase a home that they like while attending an Open House so don't always "CROSS OFF THE IDEA" of hosting one.
For the "JOHN Q." REAL ESTATE PUBLIC: If you are interested in working with a REALTOR especially over the weekend, sometimes having your REALTOR perform an OPEN HOUSE search in the MLS will get you to see homes more quickly if you are on a short time frame. Example: You call your Realtor - (OR ME :) on a Saturday morning and you decide to see homes, I would have to call and make numerous appointments, that is of course - HOPING that I can reach the listing agent or the Seller to make the arrangements... you get the picture.
So in closing, CHECK OUT SOME OPEN HOMES this weekend :) AND BE SURE YOU WORK WITH AN EXPERIENCED REALTOR !!
